Concerning the Resurrection
We have spent the month of October with our emphasis being the fifteenth chapter of I Corinthians. Within this text we find the most comprehensive teaching in all the Bible concerning the resurrection. As we prepare for our All Saints Service next week, it is important to realize the promise of our resurrection that we have in and through the work of our Lord on that first Easter morning! What's Happening in November at FCC
November 2 is the date that Daylight Saving Time ends. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour Saturday night before you go to sleep, or else you will be an hour early for church! This is not as problematic as being an hour late, as can happen in the spring, but you may as well sleep a little later. November 2 is also All Saint's Day at FCC. Afterward, they will enjoy a top-your-own hotdog bar with chips and drinks in our picnic area, and then proceed to the cupcake walk for dessert! Th

Sermon: The Resurrection Documented
Pastor Tibbs' sermon for October 12 is titled The Resurrection Documented. It is based on 1 Corinthians 15: 1-11 . 15 Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, 2 by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins accord
