Rummage Sale Preview

The spring rummage sale at FCC is this Friday and Saturday, 9AM to 4 PM each day. I thought I'd be proactive and take a few pictures of the rummage sale items Wednesday morning to show you what's available. I knew that would be incomplete, because more stuff comes in every day. Boy, that's the truth! By the time Wednesday night Bible study rolled around, there was a lot more, but I didn't have my camera with me.

There are a ton of dishes, as always, and clothing of all kinds. We have a whole table of just blue jeans.

And lots of toys!

By Wednesday evening, we had added two sets of golf clubs and bags, a couple of nice bed frames, more strollers, and a child's table and chairs. And a bicycle. Plus we have a lot more boxes of donations to unpack. And where did we get a Kirby vacuum cleaner? I'd buy that myself if I didn't already have one.

It looks like someone has been going through the church's storage and clearing out old props and supplies, which may come in handy for a school or children's group or another church. These things are spread around so I couldn't get them all in one picture.

You'll also find luggage, books, movies, home decor items, and some stuff I can't even identify. And as always, we will have tomato and pepper plants, cactuses, succulents, and house plants for sale.

I didn't photograph everything, and I'm sure that people will be bringing in surprises on Thursday, so this is just a small taste of what will be available Friday and Saturday at the rummage sale in the downstairs fellowship hall. Deanna, our sales guru, will not be there Friday, and Bertha says she needs all the help she can get from church members. Tell everyone you know to come and get some bargains!
