Welcome to the new FCC website!

First Christian Church is happy to launch our new website. We have a hosting service (Wix) that supports the functionality we need, and a new domain name that the church itself owns- fcccorbin.com. That's easier to write and easier to tell someone. No matter who is editing and posting, the First Christian Church office controls who is authorized to change the website, which makes changes easier in the long run.

When the site goes live, we will have a short period of beta testing, in which church members can note errors, report corrections, and make suggestions. I will tweak the site to incorporate your ideas, then we will publicize the site for everyone to see.

You might notice that the home page is very long. This makes navigation easier for those who browse the web on their phones, since scrolling down is easier than finding and pushing buttons on a phone. For those who are used to navigating from a menu, we have that covered, too. The buttons at the very top are few, but they work. The "Home" button is necessary so you can return from any other place on the site. The "Menu" button has a dropdown menu that will take you directly to the information you are looking for on the long page. The "News & Updates" button will take you to the site's blog, which is where you are reading this. This is where we can post information on upcoming events, videos, calendar items, and I hope some regular thoughts from our pastor.
