The next rummage sale at FCC has been postponed from October to November. It will be held on Friday November 7 and Saturday November 8th from 9AM to 4PM each day. That gives us plenty of time to assemble a great variety of things to sell!

A rummage sale benefits everyone in several ways.

1. It's a chance to get rid of stuff around the house you don't need anymore, without the guilt of wastefulness or adding to a landfill. It will make your home feel bigger and lighter!

2. It's a chance to pick up some things you can use at bargain prices. I mean ridiculously low prices.

3. It raises money for a good cause.

4. Any items left over at the end of the sale will be given to organizations that know what to do with them for the benefit of others. House plants will find a good home, either mine or yours.

The good cause this fall is our food program. We distribute grocery store gift cards on a regular basis to those in need, but the need is always greater than the supply. Besides that, having a little help this month is only a temporary solution. We are always worried about how we are going to continue the program next month. But this is what we are supposed to do.

Tell all your friends about the opportunity to donate your unneeded furniture, sports equipment, toys, camping gear, dishes, appliances, cookware, art supplies, books, tools, home decor items, fixtures, linens, baby items, art, clothing, holiday decorations, or anything that someone else could use. Bring them to the church the week of October 13-16 during business hours, or you can call the office to arrange a pickup or a delivery time.

Then tell all your friends to be there Friday and Saturday, November 7th and 8th, to find a bargain! Doors open at nine each day.

Our rummage sales are only possible thanks to Deanna Darr, who oversees the operation, and her team of associates who put in a lot of work to make them happen. Thank you!
